Advanced Machinery (AM.CO.ZA) launched a “ready-to-go” business opportunity for entrepreneurs at the recent Sign Africa Expo, lowering the barrier of entry to earning potential and creating jobs. It unveiled its two ‘secret weapons’, the FastCOLOUR™ UV Flatbed Printer and the FastCOLOUR™ 1860mm Large-format printer which jointly or singularly equip start-ups with business-ready printing capabilities.

Managing director, Eric Yin said of AM.CO.ZA’s move, “With the current unemployment rate in South Africa at its highest level in 14 years at 27.7%, all eyes are turning to entrepreneurship as an answer to youth unemployment. Starting their own business is out of reach for many who cannot afford exorbitant start-up costs. We’ve put together all-inclusive packages that allow business owners to set up and start earning an income fast.”

Over the past four years in South Africa, AM.CO.ZA has built a reputation as the supplier of a host of superior, reliable and affordable products. Apart from printers, they specialise in vinyl, plasma and laser cutters, CNC machines and CNC routers. AM.CO.ZA also established a strong online presence with a host of instructional and demonstration videos.

In printing, perhaps more so than in other industries, quality can make or break a business. Precision was front-of-mind in AM.CO.ZA’s specifications for both these machines, coupled with versatility and affordability.

“We wanted to create machines that can do what they say on the tin and do so brilliantly. Clients have varied needs, and we wanted products that would be able to cope with their exact specifications. The high print quality and simplicity of our machines impressed visitors and enticed them to our stand at Sign Africa Expo. Many didn’t know you could print on some of the materials we are able to print on,” said Yin.

Both printers boast superior quality printing and are versatile in their application. The sought-after FastCOLOUR™ UV Flatbed Printer is a “one-printer-fits-all” and is an ideal start for a small business. It imprints on textiles, steel, ceiling boards, SupaWood™, PVC foams, cardboard, Perspex, bricks, plywood, tiles, plastics and more. It is perfect for signage, art and labelling in the commercial or manufacturing industries.

The FastCOLOUR™ 1860mm Large-format printer with optical media sensor, Servo Motor Printing, free CMYK Eco-solvent bulk ink system and dual Epson DX5 print head known for its superb printing quality, presents entrepreneurs with a potential step into the printing industry. The superior print quality does not hamper speed profoundly, with printing speeds in 2,3 pass draft mode at 30m2 /h and 7.5m2 /h on 8 pass high-resolution mode.

Packages for both machines are competitive with the best brands in the market and vary from including only the machine alone, to an all-inclusive package with inks and software. Both come standard with a 1-year limited warranty.

“We have always aimed at providing clients with the ability to excel in business. With the FastCOLOUR™ UV Flatbed Printer and the FastCOLOUR™ 1860mm Large-format printer, we are able to make their dreams of starting up their own business, a reality.”

AM.CO.ZA was the runner-up in the “Small Floor Space Award” at the Sign Africa Expo.
